Yay! Sawdust and Diamonds is officially on GOOGLE!  Just under Joanna Newsom....not too shabby!
So sales are going really well,  and both jenni and myself are really happy with the goods that we are selling- Its wonderful to see that people actually want to be unique and interesting and wear stunning clothes !
Feel thoroughly pumped with inspiration after going to the most  glorios of gigs on Sunday night  - Gogol Bordello- at  Manchester Academy.  Any band that describes themselves as 'gypsy punk' sounds bloody brill to me !  We got all dressed up in  our lovely homemade dresses and painted our faces, and felt like queens!!!  It was  really wonderful being surrounded by real funky-as-hell people all dressed up to the 9's in top hats with feathers and  stripy trousers! Amen to that!
So thoroughly revitalised and  readt to sporn more funky  creations- im on a mission!

Sawdust and Diamonds has been seriously busy over the last couple of weeks.  We've finished a commission to dress a model for  hair/make-up fashion show (and the contestent one 2nd place! congrats Jane!), and  now have a good amount of stock in a lovely shop in Buxton, Derbyshire called Millie the Moose.   The sales are up, and i'm having a great time creating new garments.   More garments following shortly!!!

Welcome to our beautiful new website....weve been busy redesigning  and adding some new products.   The last few weeks have been  pretty productive: weve sourced  a fantastic supply of antique lace (which is already starting to show  through in the garments recently added to the shop!) , and  have aquired a bounty of beautiful habidashery!

Something else new is that  Sawdust and Diamonds are now showing a small collection of garments in a  fantastic shop called ''Millie the Moose'' in Buxton, Derbyshire.   There is some keen  interest in  the garments, which is really positive!

So  we are again in the process of making some more fab clothes, some gorgeous tops and skirts in the pipeline which we cant wait to get on the website.... so keep your eyes peeled!

Just a quick entry to keep you up to date on what we little busy-beez have been up to!  Along side making humongous loads of  christmas pressies (will blog some of our ideas in another post!)....both jen and myself have been  creating and sourcing some beautiful fabrics and lace.  Lots of pretties to be photographed and added to our growing collection.   Beautiful new fabric labels are also a wonderful success!

So lots to add to website, keep your eyes peeled!!!!!!

Sooooo! We have metaphorically jumped on the horse, and are now the proud owners of a website (and its starting to shame up rather grand!). The last  few weeks  have been really productive ones , and both Jeni and  myself have been getting our creative hats on: organised a photoshoot,  set up the website, as well as making some really beautiful clothes - that will be pride of place on the web soon!

Things going beautifully so far, and there seems to be some really positive  comments!
